NSBE Jr. / Mentoring Families and Kids Inc.
Mentoring Families and Kids, Inc, (MFK) is a 501 c3 organization that was founded in 2005. The organization focuses on educational support for under-served students from K-12 by emphasizing parent involvement and increasing exposure to S.T.E.M. (science, technology, engineering and math).

The National Society of Black Engineers (commonly known as NSBE), founded in 1975, is one of the largest student-run organizations in the US, centered on improving the recruitment and retention of African-American engineering students. NSBE has grown to over 26,000 members worldwide in over 30 countries. NSBE’s mission is “to increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community.”

Science Sis Foundation
Our mission is to provide young girls with the tools, resources, and opportunities they need to excel in STEM. Through engaging content, interactive activities, and real-world examples, we aim to cultivate critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and a sense of empowerment. By celebrating the achievements of women of color in STEM and showcasing their journeys, we inspire our young audience to dream big and believe in their own potential.
We envision a future where representation in STEM is equitable and diverse. We strive to break down barriers, challenge stereotypes, and create a space where girls of color can see themselves as the next generation of scientists, engineers, innovators, and leaders. We aim to bridge the gap between culture and science, igniting a passion for exploration that transcends boundaries.
